Could we please let our old friend Namelessfly back? I'll try not to press his political buttons.

Agreed. He was fun to argue with as long as it wasnt political.

Since I am also one of those sometimes hit his rant button, let me add my recommendation to let him return. As long as he keeps the language clean and has learned that other people have a right to their opinion, he can be fun to argue with.

I am a little conflicted on this one.

Actually enjoyed the heck out of talking with him and vented back and forth in PMs. Since he has been gone I have had to place 3 folks on the ignore list as without him I would probably be joining him. <shrug> Not like the world would end if I got banned.

Also, he got booted before I came back from a 4 month road trip. I can't really follow the forum as to hard to pay attention to a web based application when you have to drive miles and miles to get online. So I wonder(guiltily) if a PM from me would have calmed him down again.

On the other hand personal responsibility. He was warned multiple times that the behavior exhibited would get him banned. You do the crime you pay the piper.

Based on some of those PMs I not even sure he would come back. So it may be a moot point anyway.

Weighed it for a day and I think rule of law should stand, he was banned for whatever reason he should stay banned.

Just my opinion,

Depends on the rules, as applied by Dukk. If banning is permanent, it is permanent. If it is case by case, or for some time limit, it might be time for a review.

Duckk has noted he may consider it if nameless can prove that he can behave this time round.

Like Basil in Fawlty Towers "Don't mention the war", we just don't mention Obama.
