IIRC treecats can and do use human facilities.

Poker

PS Can any one site text evidence, IIRC Honor said somewhere it took only a little time to train Nimitz to use human facilities. In OBS?

Mange, <So chief what are you looking at?>

Chief, "The new cover art by Genkis of the French More Than Honor."

Image

<Males of the people are grey not brown. Death Fangs are not armored like a Terrain armadillo. Why do your two-leg artists distort reality?>

"It's called artistic license. The brownish fur of the 'cat is more visible against the background, The armor makes the hexapuma more fierce looking. You did notice Climbs Quickly's net bag, the first commercial rendition of treecat native cultural accouterment?

Riddle asked in Baen's Bar:

What's the difference between HONORVERSE and BUSHIPS?

My answer: BUSHIPS is for numerical questions;
HONORVERSE is for all other DW subjects.

BUSHIPS is for
those folks who really-really want to compute
how many LACs can dance on the point of a Grav Lance.

Chief Pokermind, "I usually wait until humor is farther down before replying, but something came up in my PMs from one of the how many Arc-angles can dance on the tip of Merilin's nose boys in the Safehold Forum."

Snarks at Admirals AKA Mange, <Sir, if you wish to loge a complaint such as "Hey now, if you an misbehave everywhere you go on these forums, why can't we? :P " you should use to correct two-leg frozen-mouth-noise ('Human writhing' in treecat) when making a complaint. IE. 'Hey now, if you an misbehavior everywhere you go on these forums, why can't we? :P' or 'Hey now, if you who misbehave everywhere you go on these forums, why can't we? :P'

<As to your point, Admiral, of course you can, just expect the odd smart Alick remark from the People (treecats).>

Eventually perhaps their hunting skills might make for very lethal new captains, as arboreal hunters they might be better in space battles than humans for having planned hunts in three dimensions all their long lives. "Captain Torn-Ear to the bridge." Just one problem how to keep white barrette on a 'cats head ;)

Full partnership and citizenship does include such options for treecats. On the other hand, specialization can produce a more capable over society. Just like MALign is trying to create by force.....

I don't know how they'd keep a white beret on a 'cats head, but a white barrette might work.......

"Oops! Well I never could spell very well and the creeping crud makes it worse. When asked how do you spell a word I answer with my way of spelling and add, 'Tain't necessarily like Noah Webster would spell it but, who cares he's a Damn Yankee any who.'"

<Wasn't your American Civil War over two thousand years ago?>

"Well you know Southerners we keep a grudge till it dies of old age, then take it to the taxidermist to have it mounted. What do you think of treecat captains?"
