Anyone know a file of this that ISN'T screwed up? So far both the Mission of Honor and Torch of Freedom CD files cut off Ms Midshipwoman Harington at about page 60, deletes Changer of Worlds and double prints From the Highlands. I'd REALLY like to find a file that doesn't do this. =(

EDIT: Title change to better reflect what's in here for searches.

Hmmm... ok it looks like the copy directly from the Baen Library is ok. For some reason though the ePub files from the CD images at fifthimperium are corrupted.

I checked the Mission of Honor CD, and all seven of the epub versions except Mission of Honor that I checked are hosed. They display the table of contents and the book cover, but the stories are blank. IOW, the problem doesn't seem to be the upload to Jiltanith.

I'm using epubreader on Mac OS X Leopard. The epub file for AAC is over 800 k, so it obviously thinks it's got content.

This isn't a problem for me; I use the html versions for reading.

Yeah, the problem is the epub file itself on the CDs and the CD images that have been released. The HTML versions of the file are fine, but for some reason the original epub file must have been corrupted when it was created and put into the master CD file.

Same problem on all ePubs I've found. :|

I downloaded the .lit version and used an online converter tool to convert to ePub format. :geek:

Working great so far, and now I can find out what happens when "... we lose on the capability side." :lol:
