Who would make a good Honor Harrington in a Movie/TV role?

Nononono, Torres as Henke (thank you, krsulhope, she is perfect). Someone with more gravitas as Elizabeth. Halle Berry is too expensive. And she ain't no spring chicken anymore, going on 46. We should all look (or in my case looked) so good at that age. But even tho' Honor was about 41 at the time of OBS (see http://infodump.thefifthimperium.com/ti ... Harrington) she looked like maybe 18, right.

I wonder if they might downplay Prolong a bit to widen the range of actors that would be realistic in the major roles. Maybe at least say it slows down aging at a later point (much like the earlier generations of Prolong did in the books)?

another possible actress is Adrianne Palicki who is 5'11" and was recently cast as Wonder Woman

I think Yvonne Strahovski would be perfect. She plays Sarah Walker in Chuck. Even though she is blonde she has played a brunette in several of the episodes. Also playing to the younger demographic she was motion captured for the Mass Effect 2 game. She can really kick some serious tail in the TV show at least, so she should be able to pull off the physical role.

I absolutely adore Yvonne as both Sarah and Miranda, but I couldn't see her as Honor.

Stacy Keibler is a bit old (32), but she does have a ton of 'acting' experience (in pro wrestling, hmmm...), is tall (5'11"), is athletic and is cheap

Honor is never described as having a robust physique. She is invariably described as athletic and slender. Summer Glau has all of these qualities. She's NOT top heavy, another trait that is mentioned when describing Honor.

I've never gotten why people insist on Ms. Jolie or someone like Claudia Black(whom I absolutely adore) for her role. They are both very well endowed.

However, according to IMDB, she's at least 6 inches too short. Honor's described as around 6 feet tall, and IMDB says Summer is 5'6", which is probably a bit exaggerated.
