I just noticed that Jan Kotouc is not contributing to this book - He is the writer who was supposed to drive forward the story about Silesia (He wrote the Silesian Command in WoW #7). I wonder if his absence has a deeper meaning.

RFC said "refitting a Beowulfan SD to Manticoran standards would be just as difficult as refitting a standard SLN SD to those standards. In other words, it would be cheaper and faster to build new ships." |

It's hard to say for certain this far out in the schedule, but Saganami #1 is contracted to be turned in by November 2026, so I think Baen is shooting for a late 2027 release. Saganami books #2 and #3 are due in 2027 and 2028, so my guess is Baen wants to release one Saganami book each year from 2027 through 2029. Again, though, that's just me making educated guesses based on the dates in my contract. |

Something to bear in mind regarding release dates. The date is for the finished book. Baen will almost assuredly be doing an e=arc which if I'm not mistaken are released somewhere around 2 months prior to the finished product. I DO so love the e=arcs! They're the gift that keep on giving. |

Well, how many copies did Toll of Honor sell? David Weber has been removed from bookshelves in my local book stores(Western Washington) for several years now. I had to order in Uncompromising Honor and To End in Fire from Barnes and Noble for instance. He has also been removed from Half Price books with the exception of the hardback resell section. Of course ALL paper based books are going into an abyss which is really bad for me as my eyes HATE computer/tablet/phone screens. _________
