Does anyone remember this?

Hello, all
I have been reading HH since my dad first turned me on to them, but I think I'm losing my mind. Does anyone recall a short story where Honor and Nimitz were home alone on Sphinx and an assassination attempt was made? I remember the story in my head but can't find it anywhere. Multiple assassins, action took place outside... Maybe this story was written by an author other than David?

Any chance it was a fan-fic story, rather than something in on of the official anthologies?

I believe there is a story (not involving Honor) of an assassination attempt on one of the earlier Queens, set on Sphinx.

Oh. You means the one back when (later Queen) Adrienne Winton was still a Crown Princess?

Though IIRC there was only one assassin (though other plotters were involved). And she was giving a public speech, not home alone. So not sure if this would be what sartorta was remembering.

There was the mentioned, but not shown, assault on Zilwicki's house/Cathy's Mansion. I remember we asked Eric for the story, and he said something to the effect that there was nothing to tell - Someone hired some bad guys, Zilwicki found out, and between him and some Ballroom friends, the bad guys never left Zilwicki's house again. Nothing to see here, we're just redecorating - loudly.

Also the assault on Ruth and Berry in Erewhon (inside ships and Casino/Space station), or the kidnapping and assault on Helen on Earth?

There have been two assaults by groups of criminals on Honor and Nimitz: the attack by fanatics at the Protector's palace in HotQ and the attack by hired thugs at the restaurant in FoD. Neither occurred at Honor's home in Sphinx.

One more was Alfred's rescue of Allison, but there was no treecat involved and it happened on Beowulf.
