Do you know what's so good about Alzheimer's vs. the Honorverse?
I can read them twice each year, and still be surprised at the endings! Just now starting my 4th reread while being treated for this disease for about 6 years. I'm now 83 going on 84, and still enjoying these books on my 10" Kindle. Bruce Harrington, maybe old relative of Honor's! Correction:my notes show this will be my 5TH read. Honor Harrington and Safehold nut.

I'm 66 and am living proof that you don't have to have Alzheimer's or other cognitive disorders to want to read the entire series for the 3rd, 5th or 9th time. If a series is good and as complex enjoyable as this one often is, rereading it allows you to capture detail points that you probably missed during the first half dozen readings. No, I've not read the series that many times ... but am preparing to read through it again for the 4th. Sonex, what this proves is you have good taste my friend. ****
Just my opinion of course and probably not worth the paper it's not written on. |
