Good question. A standard risk assessment starts with a simple assessment of severity and likelihood of risk. I'd say on current information that the potential severity is high (who wants to go out as a sack of skin filled with rotten fluid?), but to date the transmission hasn't been significantly high. So not a pandemic risk at present.
Now if it mutates just a little so it can spread more easily?

I see no evidence that the epidemic is at an inflection point and it has apreading into major cities.

Africa is the only continent on the planet where the human population continues to increase at a rapid pace and will not cease growing before 2100. The AIDS epidemic is taking an extreme humanitarian and economic toll on Africa, but victims survive long enough to reproduce so the effect on population growth is minimal. Ebola has the potential to reduce Africa's population by over half.

Countries, including Saudi Arabia, are closing their borders.
