A good probability, yes. Trump does not need to be extremely strong to win, as long as his opponents are weak and divided. And it actually seems to be the case here: the democrats are pretty divided. And, frankly, Trump also not completely without successes. His economical policy generally worked so far, and while his foreign policy is incoherent, he at least avoided costly military adventures (of which Obama was so prone).

The biggest risk for Trump, IMHO, is the possibility of divide in Republican party. If moderates decided that they fed up with brainless evangelists & other radical morons, they could make an internal revolt, which would shatter Trump support.

Just to keep everyone updated, this was no singular lapse, going by the current state of his twitter account he has Quadrupled down on the Racism!

He knew the media would hyper inflate and distort the situation. This issue relates to 2020 election. Trump wants the 4 freshmen Congresswomen to be the standard bearers for the Democrat Party. He wants to break the Unity of the Democratic party. Everyday they spend on attacking Trump and ignoring what the America public wants, that works in the Republican Party. Trump's true goal is win the House and Senate. Trump should win the Presidency in a electoral landslide.

The key for the Republicans is to carry the Independents and have them vote Republican for Senate and the House Seats. If Trump can point to the Demoncrats as the standard bearers for the Democratic Party that works in the Republican favor. Can Trump pull off this strategy? We will see.

Even assuming that your statement about Rep. Omar's district was correct, her job is to do what she can to represent the interests of her constituents and advocate for the policies that they agree with. Her then position as a Minnesota state representative did not empower her to directly fix things like city police (nor doe her current position as a US Representative) so criticizing her over something that she did not have control nor responsibly for is not reasonable.

In fact, it looks a lot like you're desperately trying to find legitimate reasons to criticize/attack after deciding to attack her. The way you've chosen to attack her and the way you've vocally supported the way Pres. Trump has attacked her come across implying that your main issue with her is that she's an immigrant and brown woman in a position of power.

Trump is merely suggesting that the deplorable conditions of Omar's home district raises serious questions about her credibility.

I offerred the Justine Damond murder as an example of how liberal affirmative action policies to hire manifestly unqualified people to be police officers results in innocent people getting killed. I would point out that Noor's lilly white partner was just as incompetent and paranoid as Noor, but not as quick on the trigger.

In Omar's defense, I would point out that there are other communities in the US that suffer a much higher rate

The four freshwomen Congresswomen have become an extreme embaressment to the Democrat party. Even Senator Obama was smart enough to decry the high rate of out of wedlock births
among African-Americans to make himself appear moderate. I actually considered voting for him until his Crazy Uncle in the Attic speach revealed his malevalent, racialist soul. The selection of Governor Palin as VP enabled meto vote enthusiastically for McCaine.
