Thursday it's almost time for the release of the Mueller Report.

No, it's almost time for the release of whatever portions of the report are going to leak through Barr and other Trump loyalists spending the last several *weeks* trying to figure out how much they could keep covered up.


Also, Giuliani has let slip that the Trump team is preparing their own rebuttal to the report.


So tell me smr... do you think they're going to be rebutting that it says Trump is "totally exonerated"? Is that what they feel the need to argue strongly against? Or maybe.... possibly... they've been fighting tooth and nail to delay and obstruct as much as possible any of the report actually getting out into the public for a reason. Just a thought.

And now Barr is calling a press conference to talk about the report. The report he refused to give details about to Congress because he claimed it wasn't in the public interest for them to hear him describing it and they would have to wait until he released it.

He's called the conference before he's releasing even his redacted version. So nobody will have read anything. Nobody will have any basis for questioning anything he says. So so much for his "not in the public interest" excuse he gave for stonewalling Congress on it.

And at the same time it just came out the Justice Department has been coordinating with the White House on the report for the last week, which is highly inappropriate.

They are doing everything they can to spin the narrative before people get to start seeing even the bits of the real actual report they haven't blacked out to keep covered up.

My daughter is doing her Master's in Clemson on an assistanceship. I am so happy she is going all in for Beto this cycle. Reminds me of my work for Jesse Jackson way back when he ran for President. The guy is simply a repository for platitudes and has been relegated to obscurity by Mayor Pete. The guy is done. My daughter is going to have to revisit why she likes Beto and why the MSM is going to ignore him because of his lack of intersectionality. She'll revisit her beliefs. That is a very good thing. I do believe she is a bit guilty for voting Trump over Clinton. She just couldn't bring herself to vote for that woman.

After the Benghazi attacks, the Republicans accused the Obama administration of lying to the American public about the motive for the attack. They - including conservative posters on this very board, although I don't recall if you specifically were one of them - went on to maintain that such a lie was such a serious matter that it merited multiple Congressional investigations and went on to argue it disqualified Hillary Clinton from the presidency despite said investigations failing to corroborate it.

And then we come to Russian involvement in the 2016 election. Even if we take the statements Barr has made to date (not counting the current press conference which I haven't seen) Russia attempted to intervene in Trump's favor. Barr claims their offers were rebuffed by the campaign, but even accepting that for the sake of argument, Trump has been maintaining for coming on three years that there was no Russian interference (not jusy collusion). In short, Barr effectively confirmed that Trump's been lying openly and repeatedly, and on a much more serious matter (from a national POV) than the lie Obama and Clinton were accused of. NTM that IINM failing to report those attempts to the FBI is itself a crime.

So honrstly, your (and the GOP's) triumphant calls of "no collusion!" come off as rampant hypocrisy at best.

Benghazi: Remember, the Demoncrats claimed that Terrorist Attack was caused by a man on you-tube. Did you forget about that major lie? Who was running guns to Al Qaeda in Syria through Turkey and Libya. A CIA approved gun running operation and when Libya objected the Obama Administration helped assassinate him. That Investigation also spared us the Witch of the East. That Investigation showed the World her treason. No...Hilary did this to herself. If she did not knowingly break the US law she would have been President.

Like I said, You are going to twist or interpret the way you want to. Most Americans and many Democrats have figured out that this is a nothing burger. It was a witch hunt. The Demoncrats are going to try and probably fail to use this against Trump. Some are going to press for impeachment but I see this failing as it did with Bill Clinton. What did the Senate do? Censured him!
