Well, the president's personal attorney and fixer just went on the record under oath about multiple crimes Trump committed.... and the GOP appeared to have basically no questions about any of them whatsoever. Instead they had one singular mission, and this about sums it up (paraphrasing):


GOP: "You lied to Congress! Lying lying liar!"

Cohen: "Umm, yes, that's a big part of why I'm now here and also facing jail time. I lied *for Trump*.

GOP: "You did unethical things!!!!"

Cohen: "Yep.... once again.... under the employ of Trump... did many unethical things. You get what a "fixer" is right? Why I'm here... "

GOP: "LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE!!!!!" ***

Cohen: "One more time... yes I lied to Congress to hide Trump's crimes. Got caught. Now going to jail. Whole reason I'm here testifying...

GOP: "Well obviously since you are a liar Trump is innocent. No further questions!"

As is clear to basically everyone, the GOP doesn't care that Cohen lied to Congress to hide Trump's transgressions.

They care that he STOPPED lying when he got caught, and flipped. THAT is what has them enraged.

Funny how the Democrats moved the testimony of Michael Cohen to when Trump's out of town on an official Summit visit with North Korea. We (the public) learned that Trump paid off Stormy Daniels. Did anyone think that the Donald was a choir boy? Of course not! Now Cohen did say that the Trump campaign did not collude with Russia! However, the disbarred lawyer Michael Cohen claimed that Trump committed a campaign finance violation. The claim could be fought in court and won by Donald J. Trump. The worst case scenario is that the Trump camp pays a fine. Yawn...a witch hunt comes to mind. Face it Demoncrats, Trump beat you at the polls and you still want his pound of flesh to mount on tips of your spears. This is going to play out where Trump is voted on the articles of Impeachment in the House. The Senate will not prosecute. What happens is that Trump gets reelected. How history repeats itself. This happened with Bill Clinton and now it's happening with Donald J. Trump.

Michael Cohen admitted that he is not paying for his lawyer. His lawyer consulted with Adam Schiff and Chairman Cummings. That is not supposed to happen is that not collusion. So his lawyer scripted his testimony in conjunction with the Demoncrat allies. Gcomeau it's ironic that you now believe Cohen when before he turned he was a liar. So who is paying for Lenny Davis. Funny how he changed his party designation from Republican to Demoncrat.

Mark Meadows just referred multiple matters concerning Cohen about lying and not registering with the Government as a foreign agent. The political junkie in me just loves this. Gcomeau please pass the popcorn!

It is COMPLETELY NORMAL for the heads of committees calling witnesses to testify in front of those committees to talk to them or their counsel in advance about the topics they will be discussing. WTF are you talking about "that is not supposed to happen"?

Even the story on this in Fox News trying to pretend there is something there admits this.

1. He's already been caught and knows it.

2. He is now under a plea agreement where if he is caught lying again his prison time will jump dramatically. And Mueller and SDNY are watching his testimony like hawks.

3. What he is saying now is backed by actual corroborating evidence.
