Perhaps we'll see RNS High Ridge and RNS Descroix deployed at the maximum security penal colony on Hades.

Sadly for the potential joke the names of HMS Hood's canceled Admiral-class sister ships were later reused
* Rodney becoming one of the Nelson-class battleship pair
* Anson and Howe becoming King George V-class battleships

Even the classic twice canceled battleship name USS Montana is apparently on its way to becoming a Virginia-class SSN (and previously was an armored cruiser).

But naming ships after famously canceled ones seems more amusing that naming it after infamously sunk ones.

How about USS South Dakota (1925) and USS South Dakota (1942)?
