It's not immaterial to this discussion since Fly specifically stated that the people in the refugee caravan where burning flags.
And I doubt that many people rubs their hands together and thinks "Oh, look! Illegal immigrants are coming - now I can pay them next to nothing and skip paying taxes!". There are certainly people out there that will take advantage of immigrants but they are the type that will take advantage of anyone or anything so they can make an extra buck or two.
Regarding propaganda, I find it disturbing that seemingly intelligent people buys into Trumps rhetoric. The man constantly lies and they all seem fine with it. But I guess Trump's mentor Cohn was right, if you tell a lie loudly and forcefully often enough, people will believe it no matter how outrageous it is. Although, I think he got the idea from a notorious German with a penchant for speeches.
