You may be over-estimating his age range, my 9 year old niece is vastly more mature than this ... even accounting for the current Sparkly-Glitter-Princess phase.

It would seem Mastercard is beginning to dictate what people can or cannot say.
See the report here.
It would seem that Robert Spencer has managed to make some enemies willing to twist the financial world round to stab him.

What's interesting is that Spencer seems to be an intellectual opponent of extremist Islam and has refused to condemn the entirety of Islam as a religion. Given that in the past Mastercard has happily allowed itself to be used by outright terrorist groups like the IRA, Hamas and Al Quaeda, having Mastercard slam down like that on an American Author who hasn't actually done anything illegal is both worrying and confusing.

"Mastercard - We don't care who you shoot or blow up as long as you don't point out how Islam can be twisted..."

In our state paper today. A young US man had dreaded turning 26 as that meant he wasn't covered by his parent's medical insurance anymore. Being a diabetic and with big rises in insulin prices he couldn't afford anywhere near enough. RIP Alex Smith.
Just wouldn't happen in any other developed country.

I dont know much about him, but looking at that Wikipedia entry, I see that he was banned from entering the UK in 2013 [under a tory government]; he was planning to speak at an English Defence League meeting [our very own little KKK I believe].

Can't be that many right wing people who have that distinction - after all Steve Bannon seems to sail in and out at will.

Ok, be honest smr.... is one of these interviewees you? You can tell us.

(The most entertaining part is every one of them says something that the others clearly think is insane... without possessing the sliver of self awareness to realize that they sound just as bad as everyone else sitting there with them...)

Oh to be the lawyer for Trump...

He went on Fox and during the most softball of softball interviews... confessed to a felony while trying to deny he had committed a felony.

He declared there was no campaign finance violation because the funds came from him and not the campaign.

The funds coming from him and not the campaign is what MAKES it a felony. An illegal contribution to his campaign in the form of a secret undisclosed payoff intended to improve his election chances... instead of an expenditure BY his campaign which would have been incredibly unethical and still a great big scandal but *legal*.

Stupid strikes again.

Here's something noone could've predicted: "But her emails!" is still a thing conservatives think is a valid response to "Your President is bad and you should feel bad".

Conservatives: Complain about how liberals are sensitive little snowflakes who can't stop getting offended at anything and everything over nothing whatsoever.

Also conservatives: Light your own shoes on fire while wearing them because Nike dared make a political statement in an ad campaign.

On September 11th, I wish to remember that fateful day. Please honor the men and women that gave their lives on this day. Remember the men and women that gave their lives while helping others. This special breed of persons chose to run towards the ongoing disaster. God Bless and God Speed!

The Australian Federal seat of Wentworth, held by the most recent former Prime Minister until he got beaten for the leadership and quit politics last month.

I think the wealthiest seat in the country.
Conservative a hell, normally safe as houses for the conservative party, but actually at risk by the looks of it.

I just told someone, "No, you're thinking of the other famous lesbian politician who has plans to run for the seat"
