Owl will mourn and go on.

IMO Owl's software is helping Nahrmahn survive but Nahrmahn's continued presence in the computer helped bump Owl into true sentience and I don't believe Owl will lose that sentience when Nahrmahn dies.

Tararoys wrote:That makes me wonder what will happen to Owl when Nahrmahn kicks the bucket. We know that Nahrmahn can't survive without Owl: can Owl survive without Nahrmahn?

It sounded like from a software perspective, Nahrmahn depends on Owl but not the other way around. Won't speculate on whether Owl might feel lonely or isolated if something happened to Nahrmahn; that's a whole other matter.

Given who was talking to whom, Safehold years.

I believe during the rescue he wasn't quite 10 yet. I think Irys mentions he him being just short of ten on the trip from Delfrak to Charis. I'll flip through my IPad later and see if I can find it.

Daivyn was born in August 885.

I have a 46-page list of alphabetized character birth dates, including birth dates for a lot of characters who are no longer with us.

Nothing OCD to see here. Move along!

Actually I assumed you had something like this so you could do your best to avoid errors.

He was rescued in November 895 so that would make him 10

You mean CDO.

It's a lot like OCD but the letters are in alphabetical order LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE.

It's not like the dramatis personae list for HFAF wasn't 5% of the book or anything. ;)

Suppose I should also point out that building additional computer space in the cave is no biggie. Don't need any materials not readily available in sufficient quantity and plenty of room.

Would it be possible then for Merlin and crew to build a VR for half a dozen (or a dozen) copies of "Nimue" to run as a research/intelligence analysis section in hyper mode?

But Nimue is a soldier, not a research scientist.

Right... So let me get this straight:

Nynian is entitled to be called Lady Nynian by birth.
She's the Mother Superior of a secret sisterhood whose headquarters is by three lakes.
She's now married to Merlin ....
...and may retire to a virtual existence in a cave.

RFC, you evil punster, you. :)

Excuse me? [blinks innocently]
