Question: Could he be a sacrificial lamb? The Democrats had bought airtime on radios before the nomination. They did not even know who the nomination was. If you know what the enemy is going to do, that should be taken into account. Allow the enemy to waste time, money, effort, and political capital before putting forth a desired candidate. I have no insight or special information but this is how I would handle the scotus pick. Besides, Ruth Bader Ginsburg might have to be replaced before the mid-term election cycle. Hey Gcomeau better find God and start praying that does not happen!

Hey smr, have you found a link to that Cohen tweet yet or are you going to apologize for lying about it?

A president of the United States who is under serious criminal investigation just selected a candidate for a Supreme Court Justice specifically because that candidate has previously expressed the view that a president may not be indicted for a crime and that exact issue is rather likely to be brought before this court, thus essentially hand picking one of his own judges. And this is your reaction. Treating it like a sporting event where you have to analyze how your team strategized against "the enemy". Yeah, you sure care about the country. |

No, not indicted. He's actually correct there.
That's what impeachment is for. Not even questioned. He's argueing that the President shouldn't even be questioned by criminal investigators while President. Which kind of makes a mockery of the impeachment process. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You are so going to die. :p ~~~~ runsforcelery ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ still not dead. |

It is very questioned, that issue has never been ruled on by the SC. The guidance that a president cannot be indicted is a DOJ guideline only, based on the opinions of their own lawyers in the absence of guidance from the Court on the issue. |

Unbelievable. Desperation sets in. The POTUS hears footsteps getting closer and closer and closer...
I detest this "might have" violated campaign finance laws. If true, is it a violation or not? Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

Just making note of this claim to go back later and watch you refuse to admit you were wrong when he gets nailed for violating campaign finance laws. |

I have no problem admitting to when I am wrong. I do not think I am wrong on the campaign finance laws! Here are the facts: I will be wrong today, tomorrow, and yesterday because I am human and to error is part of the human growth process.
