I am fairly sure that if David Weber does reply it will be along the limes of "tum-te-tum", which is his usual answer about future stuff for the series

Regen as in regeneration , "the ability to medically regrow lost or damaged body parts" which works for 'most' humans but hasn't yet, (pre UH, which I haven't read) been adapted for treecats. And yes the original poster is asking about future books which the author has long signalled he would like to write. Unless he changed his mind again and the MA get thoroughly wiped out in UH.
