I'm confused and even a bit angry. Why must you make this so complicated?
I did a Bing search for Crown of Slaves and was told there are 3 books in the series, in order: Crown of Slaves, Torch of Freedom & Cauldron of Ghosts. I did an Amazon search for Wages of Sin and was told by Goodreads those 3 books are part of this series. Wikipedia states they are the part of Wages of Sin. Finally, Amazon says there are 3 books in the Wages of Sin Series, in order: Bad Blood, Flesh and Blood & Blood, Sweat and Tears. Help!!! |

There is no Wages of Sin subseries or novels in the Honorverse series.
"The Wages of Sin" is the name of the space station in Crown of Slaves. That name is written on the station's hull on the book cover, which may have caused the confusion(on Goodreads' part, mind you). The station does not signifcantly feature in the next two novels. |

Oxford comma, please. Heh. No clue what the last three are; Blood, Sweat, and Tears were a pretty good band in the '70s and they are (from http://bloodsweatandtears.com) still around, in some form or fashion. But that's not what you were looking. It just dawned on me that considering how many were killed in the casino, the title of Flint & Weber's novel is ironic since the rest of that phrase from Romans 6:23a is "is death." |

Not certain, but those could be the titles of the European subbooks of "Crown of Slaves" - European publishers are famous for cutting up David's lengthy books into 2 or 3 smaller books and getting more $$ (or Euros) for the same intellectual property. I ran into the German ones awhile back and got myself all worked up until I figured out what they were. ******

Obviously Amazon is referencing an entirely unrelated series (a Vampire/Werewolf mashup, apparently) Amazon doesn't list the Flint/Weber series because "Wages of Sin" is a fan reference-of-convenience because the Torch stories apparently do not have an official series name. My local library lists them as "honorverse" or "Honorverse novel" under "series" .
. . Answers! I got lots of answers! (Now if I could just find the right questions.) |

The Torch series is called the Crown of Slaves series in the Honorverse Wikipedia entry. It has never been called "Wages of Sin." Whoever gave you the notion that there is an Honorverse series called "Wages of Sin" is simply wrong. Most fans consider the mainline series, the misnamed Saganami Island sub-series (It should be the Talbott sub-series), the Torch series and the anthologies to be one series, and recommend a first-time read in publication order. A lot of fans prefer reading in timeline order when they're re-reading the series. |
