Didn't see a topic about this. Got a notification from Amazon about In Enemy Hands Leatherbound shipping, and it mentioned EoH was listed for preorder.

Can't remember when I did it, but my pre-order was already in, so the shipment is already underway

Yes, thanks. I put in the pre-order for Echoes, and my copy of In Enemy Hands already showed up.

Weber's leather offerings should be bundled so purchasers like myself, who have a plethora of people to buy for, has the advantage of convenience.
Perhaps it wouldn't be practical in a distribution sense, but it certainly would be in a point-of-sales and after sales distribution sense. I could then have one order drop-shipped about thirty times to various points in the UK. Not to mention what it would do for its collector's $$$ value. Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

Hm... I'm still waiting for my copy of "In Enemy Hands". :/
Am in Germany. I ordered via amazon.de, worked flawlessly for the previous books, but now... it just says "We're trying to get your order". Does anyone else have this problem? |

The leatherbounds are signed, and David has a bad wrist. There is no way you are going to get a mass number of leatherbounds from Baen because of this.

...and? What does that have to do with mass numbers?
I ordered 1-5 via amazon and got them via amazon. Only the sixth isn't showing up. David's wrist was already bad for the first one, nothing's changed there. So I'd like to know if other people in Europe got similar problems. Or if here are other Germans who got their copy already. |

I got my copy of IEH-Leatherbound day before yesterday. but I ordered it via Amazon.com - and very early. I didn't got a leatherbound copy of FiE, on the other hand, because I decided to late to order one - and did so via Amazon.de. They tried around a year or so to get one to me, until they finally gave up. By the way, I don't think, David has the time to sign each copy of the various leatherbound editions. To me, it looks very much like a printed copy of his signature. Which would be absolutely ok, imho. |
