In the spirit of the season, I thought I'd put this question out there: what would be the best Christmas present the Honorverse could give you? Plot, characters, relationships, space battles... have at ye! :mrgreen:

A good solid look at the post-Solarian political order. The SL has been collapsing for years now and I'd really like to see how everything shakes out afterward.

I want Emily Alexander to walk again. She is a woman paralyzed, yet her value to her Star Kingdom has been priceless.

It would be fitting if Emily vacationed on Grayson with her family, and on a holy Sunday in church with the cleansing power of joyous tears, poured by faith the size of a mustard seed, was healed... having met her test.

What better confirmation for The Church of Humanity Unchained.

Oh what it would do for Grayson/Manticore relations and The Mayhew Restoration.

But a certain Dr. Harrington having a eureka moment during the Christmas service that then leads to Emily walking again would both count and be legitimate for hard sci fi.
