Theoretically in a year most or all of the book could be released as snippets, but then who would buy the book?
****
Just my opinion of course and probably not worth the paper it's not written on. |

Me, and probably a large majority of those of us waiting with baited breath (or is it baited breathless hush?) |

1% every 2 weeks -allowing for holidays- would be around 25%.
That would keep me happy, especially as "A call to Vengeance" is due out in March next year as well. .

If he's following the Schedule we may not see much of anything for another month or so, and the fact that he's completely disappeared likely indicates he IS following the Schedule.
And that's because according to said Schedule, the next Safehold book is due for turn-in sometime in November. He's probably in full press mode right now on it. Now, that promises to be a very good thing once the draft is finished, as then he could stretch out snippets of TWO novels. Not sure if Tor has it tentatively scheduled or not, but if they do it's likely not in the same month as an HH novel. They're probably either going to rush it for a mid-late Summer release, or they'll wait till early 2019. |

I sincerely hope it's the former..... gimme! I can live without UH snippets for now, because it's going to be at least a month before I even start to recover from what "Our Sacred Honor" has done to my poor emotions (and my kleenex stash). Hopefully by then RFC will have started snippeting again. ~*~

Plenty of people, myself included, bought Storm from the Shadows on release even though David accidentally posted the entire book as a snippet. (The so called "oopsie version" Storm from the Shadows-OOPSIE) |
