First - I know, RFC is the sole arbiter to decide who he invites to write in his Honorverse (or any of his other universes). That's his prerogative and noone wants to change that. Nonetheless I'm curious - If you could influence the decision somehow - from which author (aside the ones who already had the honor) you would like to read a Honoverse-short-story?
I, for example, would like to read, how someone like Nnedi Okorafor (Binti, Who fears death, Akata witch) would use the Honorverse to put some new facettes into it. |

All of them already wrote stories for the Honorverse, kzt. What about some new names you're curious about? |

The ones I'd really be looking forward to are RFC and his current major collaborators; Zahn, Tom Pope, and Lindskold
Marko Kloos might be able to do something interesting especially a boarding action, or marine ground combat focused, story. Not sure who else. I tend to get the anthologies to read David Weber's contribution... (Sure I read them all, but the one I'm looking forward to is David's) |

They understand the universe. It’s hard to write stories here without doing something crazy. Like freighters pulling 2000g, etc. |

I would be intrigued to see what Larry Correia or Sarah Hoyt could come up with in the Honorverse.

Personally, I would like to see an Elizabeth Moon story set in the Honorverse.
