Be aware RFC might take this as a dare.

Honor. As a reader, I'm bonded to Honor like a treecat. If she dies, then for me, the series dies.

With Honor gone the Honorverse will simply be the Verse.

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

Big C I totally agree with you.

Also there has to be a tipping point were too many
Characters we're invested in die.
With the wholesale slaughter implied/promised by
himself, that point could arrive in the next book.

It is almost as if RFC get satisfaction out of
inflicting emotional pain on us readers.
Perhaps it is a test of reader loyalty.

What is certain is that UH will bring MUCH PAIN.

My thing is the close knit family formed aboard Fearless in OBS. Each of those deaths cuts like a knife.

Sometimes RFC appears like a thief in the night.

I suppose that is why Remington made both typewriters and rifles. They knew that sometimes, authors and snipers are one in the same. LOL

Between OB & Beatrice, I'm numb. Yes Herself, Abigail Hearns, Helen Zilwicki. Past and future of MA. Of course I cried when Ragnhild Pavletic (sp.?) got blowed up.So, yeah nobody's safe
