I previously wrote:The three stories I want are :-

Branching Out :- The establishment of one of the new Treecat colonies on various planets in the SEM

The Sound Of Silence :- How Singer From Silence learned to understand human communication

The Tale Of Satan's Handmaid :- Barbara Bancroft's sacrifice to save Grayson.
I've been thinking about this, and have another trio of stories I'd like to see. They are :-

Of Theory Convinced :- The events leading up to and including the final voyage of the ship Dahak under the command of the notable scientist Joseph Buckley.

CSI Manticore :- A case solved with the aid of a volunteer unbonded Treecat who has joined the department.

Power To The People :- The House of Lords takes in its newest Peers, a group of Treecat Memory Singers.

Awaiting comments.

The People allready have a lot of political power in the Lords with Duchess Harrington, Countess Harrington, Earl White Haven and Baron Grantville. The reason why I included Sarah Harrington was the possability that she may be adopted due to the fact that the Harrington clan has the highest percentage of adoptions.

Did she survive OB? I do not remember either way.

Yes she inherited her title from he father Lord Devon Harrington who was killed in Yawata Crossing.

I also forgot some other political power treecats have or might have.
Queen Elizabeth III (enough said)
Prince Consort Justin
Grand Duchess of Sphinx may be adopted
MP Twin Forks s/a
Theodore Harper Grand Duke of Manticore likes treecats and Aunt and Uncle adopted by treecats
Countess Gold Peak best friend adopted by treecat

Another book I'd like to read is "A History Of The People" by Samantha Golden Voice.

A propos of which, if anyone saw the movie "Congo", you'll recall the cyber-glove they put on a gorilla who knew sign language. It was hooked to a vocoder and converted hand movements to synthesized speech. Manty tech could surely come up with something similar, giving the treecats both a way to "speak" to those who don't read sign, and a "dictating machine" for writing books, e-mails, etc. This could also be the command and control interface for the HMS Treecat.

I think we could mix this topic with my topic on Nimitz mind-voice. There are so many short stories to be told, ESPECIALLY after the OB attack, that if any of our favorite authors read this forum I have a feeling the gears in their heads are starting to smoke from all the new ideas.

Well one can hope anyway :)

Still think my #1 choice for a story would be….

"Promise Kept"How Alfred Harrington and others developed a regen technique for treecats that gives Nimitz his mind-voice back.

That might be a good story if Albrecht Detweiler is the narrator... and we already know he's going to die in some hideously and entertainingly gruesome fashion only six months or so after the story is set...

Um...how do we know that?

No! Don't tell me. If that is a spoiler, it should be marked as such. I don't want to know whether this is a spoiler or a guess. If it is a spoiler, please be more careful in the future.

No I'm not quite that dumb. It's a complete wild guess. Or maybe more like a dream. I like the way he's building the new enemy, but I already really hate most of the characters in it. And especially so with pretty much every single Detweiler we've been introduced to so far.
