I'm going to list this as an understatement but it can certainly be contested because perhaps Honor nailed it perfectly. Even so, Honor regarding Elizabeth...
I imagine she keeps the taxidermist and Mount Royal's walls rather busy. Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

Oops wins again, Dammit Shannon! In fact John, your listing "Oops!" as an understatement is an understatement! LOL Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

Immediately followed by another understatement...
This exchange is a side-splitter every time. Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

Calling this an "understatement" is itself an understatement I'm thinking. ****
Just my opinion of course and probably not worth the paper it's not written on. |
