If its stupid but works, it 'aint stupid. An idiot savant is a moron in everything but one facet of thought. We'll see if it works.
Right now, I wouldn't trust a leftist if he told me the sky was blue. I'd check it out myself. So, I am checking it out. I'll let you know if your prejudice proved correct. |

Yeah... I don't think anyone is going to have to let anyone know. Barring the stray hermit in a cave... or, well, ok, a large chunk of the right wing social media community in their fake news anti-reality bubble. |

You describe me so aptly! Yeah, the results will be pretty obvious either way. |

That's what the leftists always say when their exercises in socialism and absolute top-down government control of everything collapse around their ears. It's always somebody else's fault. The Russians' excuse for the failure of communism was that there was capitalism elsewhere in the world and it was 'corrupting' the communism. It's the fault of the black market! If only everybody were conquered and forced into communism, it would work! Crooked Clinton represents everything the leftists stand for. We know best! We know how to run your lives, so don't argue! If everybody agreed with us, and did just what we tell them, the world would be perfect! ------------------ Equality does not mean forcing everybody to be just like you. ------------------ Last edited by Imaginos1892 on Tue Dec 13, 2016 8:52 pm, edited 2 times in total.

Excuse me? What planet are you from exactly?
No you wont. Because no matter what, regardless if Trump is a disaster and the next democrat would be the best president you ever had, you´re not going to vote democrat anyway. Don´t delude yourself about it.
I wonder how long before you start making up even more excuses for the results. |

I'm coming to the opinion that Trump's winning may end up a good thing for all, as long as he doesn't start WW3 or do too much permanent damage.
There is actually some merit in breaking up the career politician's cabal and their dynasties. There is also the inevitable realisation coming that the complex situation facing the "deplorables" won't be solved by simple solutions from a billionaire. The exercise mantra of "What doesn't kill you is good for you" comes to mind. |

Which would be fine if you had a populace that was willing to accept complex solutions. You do not. Arguably, no country does. As long as it's easier to blame the Other for your problems (whether that Other being "the liberals" or "the illegals taking our jobs" or "those muslims trying to kill us" or whatever else) than to accept that the problems we face now are the result of decades if not centuries of gradual mismanagement, populism will always work better than trying to communicate the facts.
Just because jumping off a cliff is theoretically survivable doesn't mean that doing so will actually improve your health. |

All sillyness and slight trolling aside, I wonder if Trump is planning to run the US as a business.
Or at least as much as the GOP establishment will let him get away with. Governments shouldn't be run as a business of course, except at a superfiscial level. (That has to be the wrong spelling ) It does pretty much explain his choices for various offices. Managers not Secretaries. (Bar a couple that I suspect are being forced on him by the GOP) Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The US centric mindset is stunning here. Virtually every developed country has had stable social democratic systems in place for decades up to a century, and it works.
All of western Europe, the UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and others. A national welfare net, along with universal government regulated health care works well in all these countries, yet we don't have a totalitarian system imposed on us. As a recent exhaustive debate here proved all these countries' citizens are at least as free as US citizens are. None of our countries have collapsed around our ears. We aren't actually leftists by the judgement of the civilised world, just well to the left of the US hard right. It is your country, do what you want, but don't expect us to go along with your unique dogma.

http://www.lifezette.com/polizette/possible-voter-fraud-detroit-problems-60-percent-precincts/ Ayup, too many precincts are entrenched one party rule election fraud cesspools of corruption. Detroit is not unique and the fraud is not only the province of Democrats. There are however fewer Republican one party rule precincts. That Trump managed to win the Republican nomination argues for less thorough Republican establishment domination of its controlled precincts. I would love to see the FBI civil rights division investigate election and voter fraud across the country. I am not so sure Clinton's popular vote advantage stands up. I sincerely doubt Trump starts WWIII. Regional conflicts may flare up and Europe may have to defend themselves, but how does a far less engaged US lead to WWIII? It doesn't. |
