When Comey announced that there was evidence of gross negligence in Clinton's handling of her private email server but no evidence of intent to do anything illegal, all the progressives and liberals thought Comey was a standup guy. Now, when he is following evidence as standup guys do when they are also FBI directors, he is a political hack. Never mind that the laws relating to the handling of secure information make no provision for intent at all. If a bubblehead takes a picture of Sherwood forest to text to his mom, he is as guilty as a spy doing the same thing for a foreign nation.
Even so, Clinton got a pass that was a just application of the law this summer, but now suffers from injustice. She started all this by keeping a private server that does not have the same security as the Fed's system at the Department of State. She sent emails that are likely classified to Huma. Huma viewed those emails on a laptop she shared with someone lacking security clearance, Carolos Danger, aka Anthony Weiner. When asked for all devices with the emails on it, Huma did not give this laptop to the FBI. So, classified information was again treated like so much unimportant spam and requests from FBI investigations are ignored.
That alone warrants an investigation. Don't blame Comey for investigating the gross negligence of the Clinton's staff in handling secure information. If she can't get her closest aides to follow proper procedures in safeguarding national security, how can she be trusted to ensure the entire nation is safeguarded?
So, Daryl, if you are upset that the Boor of New York might win the Presidency, blame Clinton not Comey.

My understanding is that a paedophile was being investigated, and among 65,000 emails on his computer there were found to be some that in their forward on history had at some time been linked to Clinton's computer. There is no evidence that Clinton ever directly emailed this man, and no evidence that any of the forwarded emails are illegal. It just so happened that the FBI chief who is a registered Republican authorised the release of this connection within two weeks of the election. Too short a period to address the issue, but in time to skew the result because of perceptions. I thought our politicians were a little unethical at times.
