You're gonna need the wind in the belly of Reginald Houseman over in the Honorverse to help you blow that much fire out.

I think you have to alert the Fire Dept. before you light that many candles.

Check your fire extinguishers too!

Oh! Don't stand so close to the cake when you're huffing and puffing. If you should catch fire, you'll need a whole lot of handwaving trying to put it out!

You know your getting old when you need a burn permit to light the candles on your birthday cake.

A very belated but ever so sincere Happy Birthday, RFC.

Now – a question for myself. How in the name of tarnation did I miss this thread for so long??? I must have had what is euphemistically described as "a senior moment", or else I'm going blind or daft, or a combination of the three

Bother - missed this one. Belated happy Birthday

I was more alert to it being the feast day today of St Crispin and St Crispinian :-)

So true.

OTOH, you know that you've gotten old when they refuse you.

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense
