Even the cockroaches were nervous. Black Victor might miss occasionally, but Palane? never.
Of course, it would have helped the cockroaches even more if the place hadn't had so many folks sweeping for bugs of the electronic kind... and a fully equipped but carefully modified incinerator n the back. Made it hard for the little critters to make a living. Of course, a few of the other cretinous denizens weren't going to be making much of a living if thinks got hinky. Then she smiled and said, "do I look like I'm here to drink?" At which point the cockroaches evacuated the premises. Aldana and her crew were not given the same set of options. ---------------------
