USofA here and the Amazon USA site shows that I have 'purchased' the book with no difference after 'logging in' for the "Inside the Book". Many non-included pages and the next to last readable portion comes just after X tells Y about Z! Then a break of 140 pages to where Sharlyan launches some ships. The last page I see is 336 with 337 to 738 unavailable. I can say, though, that Alvin York is making an appearance in this book! ;)

Don't think I revealed enough to require any spoiler alert!

I've been checking the amazon preview, and it does show up, but the preview itself only gets as far as page 59 (doesn't even cover the full extent of current snippets), plus the glossary.

Can anyone get Drak on the horn? This is a situation in which some new official snippets are called for: it's not our favorite Celery Scrounger doling out measured snippets, but a cold automatic system getting all finicky and rewarding some while shafting others.

Comments?

There is no problem so complex that it cannot be solved through the judicious application of high-power explosives.

I only get to page 59 as well. Then again, I don't buy much from Amazon so they probably hate me.

Well that was fun. Thank you pbreed and Henry Brown for pointing out where to access the preview. Got up to page 180 or so less random pages not included.

Now where am I going to get my next fix?

Seven five-days, I fear!

I think that the combination of health, Sharon glueing the office door shut and HonorCon at the end of the month mean that we wait for the ding of the ebook or the thud of the dead-tree version! Practice your patience and good things will come ... slowly, agonizingly slow, like a tree growing in Brooklyn, slower than waiting for a kettle to boil, slower than a snail at a gallop ... You get the idea, I think! ;)

Don't know if it will work with this particular preview, but some past Amazon previews were randomly select excerpts and going back to the preview at another time would give you a completely different set of random excerpts. Some WoT fans clamed to have gotten 90%+ of the last Wheel of Time book by repeated visits to Amazon's preview function.

I looked last night and scrolled to next to last text page...tonight different pages near end of the book were displayed.

Well now I know basically how it ends...should I go back and read through the snippets or wait for the "real" book???

So I looked more carefully and saw that I get up to page 185 with pages 186-738 unavailable. Has anyone else been given as much as Charybdis and Eagleeye? I'm accessing in the US. I saw no difference in how far I got either as a purchaser or not.

I get page up to 736. skip 737 the 738 then author's note, glossary, etc.

I think that I got most of the book, yes I read the end, some pages missing, but there is a lot of reading there and I did pre-order so I can see why RFC has not posted in the last three weeks.
