Sometimes scenes get rewritten or minor additional scenes get added. However the majority of the changes are copy editing - not plot/story.

So the eARC is very usually similar to the final product.

When did Capt. Prescott Tremaine receive a knighthood? When he introduces himself to the Sollie Admiral he refers to himself as "Sir Prescott Tremaine".

I'm fairly sure he got that for surviving the Battle of Manticore

More likely for his participation in the battle of Spindle and destruction of Adm Crandall's task force.

I'm surprised nobody noticed that the capitol planet of the Maya sector was constantly referred to as Burning Frog, instead of Smoking Frog.

That name was used to describe the name glyph of an important figure in Classic Maya. The proper translation is "Fire is born, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siyaj_K%27ak%27.

I have assumed that RFC wants it the way it is for his own artistic reasons but figured it does not hurt to say....

Yes, it's confusing as hell. It took me several pages to figure out that the new officer we were introduced to was a SLN officer and more to figure out where he was.

Henry Brown wrote:What about the declaration of war? It is mentioned by a small RMN navy task force, in an almost off-hand fashion, during SoV that the grand alliance has formally declared war on the SL. WHAT? We had numerous scenes in ART involving the key players of the alliance (Elizabeth, Eloise, White Haven, Theisman, Bengamin ect...) As far as I can remember, not once was the issue of formally declaring war on the SL raised in any of those scenes. Even the ones after defeating Filerata's attack. Yet if I am understanding the timeline and comlag correctly, wouldn't they have needed to declare war fairly quickly after Filerta's attack on Manticore in order for news of the war declaration to reach the naval units in question?

There was this system-wide address by the Queen...

In Chapter 49: What is the "Alpha Center"?

In Chapter 57: Who is "Brietbart"?
