Personally, I hope the snippets--which I will read regardless--don't extend much beyond 80 to absolutely no more than 100K words (given 323K is accurate). Too many snippets make the book itself seem anticlimactic where a goodly amount of snippets properly whet the appetite.

Snippeting exhuberance? I am all for it! We went months without any. So you could look at the recent bounty of snippets as making up for lost time. Also, the forums are much more interesting and engaging when RFC stops by on a regular basis to stir things up. Things got kind of slow here during the months where he was slammed trying to catch up on his writing and he stopped posting.
