- a forged signature and probably fake accounts
- Vekko and Hapyhr - presumably two senior Inquisitors, unavailable for public display.
- Rayno still too shaken to fake the usual response to a request for the monthly accounts

Here's an off the wall thought. What if the first two snippets are out of order and the hunting hound has caught the slash lizard in the shape of Nimue Chweriau. If she was 'caught' while impersonating a member of Helm Cleaver it might be a very sad occasion for the staff of St Thyrmyn's

Yeah, if some Inquisitor was capable to break the Nimue's wrist, it may mean just two things:

1) Owl is cheating with materials, and substituted the real PICA alloys for some cheap plastic. Merlin should check him - this machine is up to no good.

2) There are hidden super-PICA's in Inquisition. Which basically means, that the Safehold is roled by the sentient machines.

1) To identify herself as a member of Helm Cleaver so she actually gets taken in to the high security prison, the prayer allowing a second or so's delay in case the guard is a bit slow.

2) It's a painful 'ruined elbow', not a broken wrist, but you got me there. I forgot the text was so specific - just too many tasty snippets. Oh well, it was a nice thought while it lasted.

Poison would do nothing to her, the attempt would be to confirm that she was somebody important. And who says a PICA can't fake a broken wrist? Deliberately get captured in order to stage an attack from the inside.

I wonder....

If the seijins were in St. Thyrmyn's, and did something to make the head of that establishment unavailable to submit a budget, what things they did? Here's my list of possibilities:

1. Killed all prison personnel who were there;
2. Removed ALL prisoners and transported them away safely (Rayno's thoughts suggest something like this);
3. Rendered it useless (or at least currently useless) for housing/interrogating future prisoners (this would be hard to hide for long);
4. Removed all records kept in the prison (this could be huge! Remember the priest from Ferayd who sent the glowing, self congratulatory reports concerning his starting a riot - and how it was used against him and the CoGA?)
a. Imagine if evidence of Clyntahn's torturing of unaccused priests, vicars, etc. was kept.
b. Imagine candid accounts of Gwyllym Manthyr's non-confession were there.
c. Imagine documents of a standard procedure where a victim's tongue is automatically cut out if he's failed to confess prior to execution.

I'm not saying all of this happened. Rayno's thought processes don't suggest missing records, for example. Nevertheless, the possibilities are ... intriguing.
