Thank you, RFC! I'm not quite certain what the particulars here are, but I so want Nimue to convince the others to go with it. Fun times ahead.
The mention of Mab suggests to me that it wouldn't be something as flashy as Rakurai impersonation. A seijin murder spree at an Inquisition meeting? -----------

One or two 2000 Pound LGBs (we know Merlin has them from the rescue in HFQ) lofted from several miles away into one of the neighborhoods where the Church's senior bishops and archbishops maintain residences (we learned about one of them about midway through HFQ when RFC was describing the results of the bombing of the Second Church of the Holy Pasquale of the Faithful of Zion). Or into a Temple Guard Barracks. Or wherever there's a convenient concentration of Inquisitors... Having seen my share of MK 84's go off in my time, I can tell you from personal experience that for anyone on the ground in close proximity, it would most definitely be the "return of the Rakurai"...

Of course, Langhorne's faith is somewhat patriarchal, so perhaps the Father of All Bombs would be more appropriate.

Interesting that it is Nimue advocating a an OBS style attack on a target in Zion.
You would think something like that would trigger some sort of alarms, not to mention the religious implications and what happens when they need to reveal the Truth. |
