A small problem of my own:
I'm not clear on the steps to send a private message in this forum. My only try failed somewhere. Douglas Hvistendahl

I got that far. The error has to be somewhere in filling in the form. Douglas Hvistendahl

You can get to the PM in two ways. The first is as was described here. The second is to click the "(# new messages)" link on top of the Forum home page. This is next to the Control Panel link. If you use the first, the message is automatically addressed to the sender of the post in which the PM is embedded. If you use the second link you will have to choose a recipient. One can still change the recipient if the fist path is used, but it will still contain links to the post from which you launched to PMs. Using the second path, one can find the "Compose Message" link to the right of the PM home page. It should be atop the columns of links. Afterwards, it is a matter addressing the recipient, titling the message and then composing the message itself. The submit command works the same way as it does for all other posts. Hope that helps. |

... And when you have mastered the redirecting of the fist path, you will have achieved the fifth dan of shotokan, Grasshopper. |

Are going to alter my post again while you seek balance between Yin and Yang? |

The river of life rushes onward, enfolded by the stillness of the riverbanks. The river erodes the banks which define its path, teaching us that alteration is a collaboration between the changed and the changer. Thus, the balance of Yin and Yang is not static, but a constant interaction of opposing and complimentary tensions. |

Tensions are only complimentary when the forces generating them act in their honest nature. Yin is and acts as Yin. Yang is and acts Yang. Both manifest in the river forming meandering etch on the Earth's face and in the flowers that bloom all along its creation.
There is nothing duplicitous. Yin and Yang act on, with and against each other. They do not change the other but encourage creative change in the other. Compelling change or worse deceitful alteration simply sows discord like weeds that choke out any flowers on the river's bank leaving the only recourse to uproot them and cast them out. Better to avoid their taking root to begin with. |
