I was browsing on Netflix and saw that one of the titles is Shannara Chronicles by Terry Brooks. The first episode is really good! Someday, I hope to see Webers, Flint, or Spencer universes on TV!

Was that the one with Kristen Kreuk? I guess not, seems that was Earthsea.

My wife is a big Shannara fan and was totally psyched for that series. She enjoyed the first few episodes, but it's an MTV production and they diverged from the book quite rapidly. By the end of the series she was yelling at the TV the way I do when watching Ice Road Truckers "that's not how it goes!!!! What the f@&k!!!!" Lol. I thought it was watchable and not bad, but I havnt read Terry Brooks since the early 90's, so I didn't remember the original story line that they mangled

I gave up on it after 5 or 6 episodes I think it was.

No way would I let tinsel town mess destroy a good book. Look what they did with Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Star Ship Troopers just to name a few.
