Previous commitments prevented me from driving < 3 hrs to Albany, NY a few months back... much as I wanted to play hooky and go... I sure ain't gonna make it to OK; but.... if you do, tell him I want to know and that I have pre-ordered each of the next books including a kindle version of AtSoT ;)

I just had a terrible thought. Have there been books in the past, since these forums opened, that have not been snippeted? Is it possible that we are not going to see snippets? On the other hand, would it be so bad, to be completely surprised by the content of the books? To bring a completely fresh eye to the reading? To not have to worry about spoilers sneaking into non-spoiler topics until after the publication?

Well Keith, That would be the ultimate tease. On the other hand, Amazon has my card numbers so, for all intent and purposes, my order is paid for and I don't plan to cancel.

I only have Cauldron of Ghosts in the Honorverse and I have reread that series... I decided to fill some time with the Hells Gate books and a few of the meany post apocalyptic stories (just to keep occupied) and I plan to begin the Safehold books July 4 weekend so... I am snippitless proof

Horrible, man, just horrible... just think of all the scoldings we'll miss for not properly marking our spoilers!

What no 'snerk' collaring for days on end? (Anyone else ever so tired of browser auto-correct? Made 'snerk' into 'sneak' :!: :?: - Yet, the same tech has done well to fix my typing so as to be unwilling to forego its 'help'!)

If we were to get any snippets in the coming 3 months, that would be at best (1 per week) 12-14 in a 500 page (minus the usual massive Cast of Characters etc.) novel. IF (big IF) we were to get such, MWW can have a field day in running us crazy with out-of-sequence and the usual (for him) ellipses in the snippets. Remember Thirsk's death? :o

What say I?

No Snippets will prevent a lot of casual visitors to these chat rooms from making promotion by the time the books do come out ;)

I don't think Road to Hell was snippeted. Which is a bad sign, since it is the most recent release. :(

I just peeked and there were at least 3.

Look at the first entry in Multiversw forum. There were 3 snippets released before the excrement hit the rotary air circulator and the snippets stopped

No idea what software you're using, but normally you can switch off auto-correct without losing spell checking. It adds a bit of work to check the flagged words if you're not sure that that's what you wanted to write, but eliminates the less than useful assistance.
