Isn't it amazing how people distort a topic from what it originally started out to whatever their own pet peeves or grievances are. I know what Munroburton was referring to but that wasn't what the original post was about. I repeat, barbaraholtz 1's original post was about her confusion over the references to Queen Elizabeth in A Call to Arms & my replies were attempts to clarify using examples. THAT'S ALL!
I am not interested in getting into a slanging match regarding the merits or otherwise of naming things after reigning monarchs & their heirs! That is a completely different topic & if you want to I suggest you start a new thread. Certainly there are enough examples within the Honorverse to provide rich pickings, let alone real life.
