Thanks for sharing that, it's pretty interesting.

The results of questions on pages 12-14 (all labeled CUR25), which asked the respondents if they trusted the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, both equally, or neither on various issues. All but two were tied within the margin of error (±3.4) between Democratic Party, Republican Party, and Neither. The two that weren't were the topics that one party has the stereotype of being the best at; protecting the country (21 for Democratic Party, 32 for Republican Party) and healthcare (34 for Democratic Party, 24 for Republican Party).

In regard to healthcare, the results of question HC15 on page 21 were also interesting. The question was "Would you favor or oppose replacing the current private health insurance system in the United States with a single government-run and taxpayer-funded plan like Medicare for All American that would cover medical, dental, vision, and long-term care services?". 39% supported (combined strongly support and somewhat support), 26% neither support nor oppose, and 33% opposed (combined strongly oppose and somewhat oppose). Since the margin of error is 3.4%, we can be confident that more respondents said they totally supported a single payer system than opposed, though clearly a majority did not totally support

The demographic questions provide some insight into how representative the poll is (e.g. 43% of respondents said they considered themselves Democrats while 37% said Republican).

29 pages light on words though.

Reading the poll questions and answers are informative. More proving the American public is very irrational when you look at how the numbers from generalities to specifics.

Note the only reason I looked at this poll is because of how badly it was against the Affordable Care Act on Real Clear Politics. Expected to see right wingnut answers. Which it seems it isn't.

Also note that 48 percent of the respondents don't have a landline which seems to be skewing a lot of polling data this silly election season.

Yep I am even more confused now.

That and he is focusing on economic issues that has left the working class sucking air. Cruz's appeal is that so many of his colleagues hats him, he MUST be enough of an outsider to be worth supporting.

This is the biggest eff you vote since Herbert Hoover got whacked by FDR in 1932.

Wait what? Where ever did you get the idea from that Trump isn´t beholden to the bigwigs?
Sure, compared to GWB he´s a total freelancer and maverick, but he´s definitely not an actual free agent. Only looks that way when compared to your last two pressies.

It´s kinda funny though that mrs Clinton is ten times more "in" with the "elites" than her hubby was when he WAS president.

If you actually want to aim to avoid the elitist bastards, vote Sanders, no guarantee he can maintain it, but at least he´s trying.

The unprecedented public criticisms of President Obama by four of his former Secretaries of Defense, not to mention retired four-star generals, demonstrate that having knowledgeable and experienced advisors cannot make up for headstrong ignorance on the part of a President.

I get a little tired of having to choose between bad and worse. Cruz has at least demonstrated in practice his political stance. It would be nice if the candidates were all required to discuss the issues and the reasons for their stand on each.

There was an SF story where everyone in office was required to predict the results if his proposal passed or didn't pass, and future votes were weighted by how accurate they were. Unlikely to happen :!:

There was a story about George Washington having had a vision of the USAs future. I've not been able to trace it back further than the late 1800s. If correct, we are going to have another civil war.

I'm afraid we'll all have to get used to it. Tonight's results put us a little closer to Trump v Clinton and yet another choice between bad and worse.

And Romney vs Obama was a contest of champions? A choice between bad and worse would have been nice compared to that.

Wait, Trump has policies? So far I've only heard one, building a wall. Everything else, including the wall come to think of it, is meaningless platitudes.
More the fault of the media not wanting to make any candidate talk issues.

As for Hillary, she's damn near a republican.

Did todays results really give Trump a chance at outright? Because if he doesn't get those 1300ish delegates he wont be the nominee.

Agree on the Media.

Hillary a Republican after what her daughter said this weekend. Give me a break.

She is the classic politician first last and always. "Its all about me" and how I can pander to my "base" to get me ...

Remember when the Bengazi attack was a reaction to a video. Nothing like a politician to confuse an issue. Or worse the extra-marital actions of her husband and her support of him.

Remember how President Obama got that Nobel Peace Prize. How did that work out?

Lastly remember the title of Trump's book and its title.

I have no clue how it is going to work out other than I hold my nose in November.

Gee I wonder when Bengazi will be investigated by someone.

Oh wait, it has been.
By people who hate Hillary.
More than 10 times.
More than 20 times!
And they still found nothing.
The GOP even admitted that the investigations owed more to Hillary's Presidential aspirations than any actual belief of wrong doing.
Yet people still scream it out like there's some big wrong doing there.

I should buy shares in Kraft Foods, you know, the company that makes Kool Aid. The rate it's being drunk in the US must be staggering.

Bah I'm in a mood.

All the shitty crap the GOP, actually lets be honest, the Tea Party hijackers of the GOP, are pulling over there, our far right wing nutters are trying here.

What was the US State Department response. It was all caused by a anti islamic video. Well until the issue was sufficiently confused.

Fact it was a pre-planned anti islamic attack. At best spin control in advance of the facts at worst ...

Which amazingly enough more and more stuff that was covered up keeps coming to light. Of course you already made up your mind. So nothing hew under the sun.

Believe what you want she is truthful 84% of the time according to some. Me, I wouldn't believe her if she said the sun rose in the east. But that generally applies to all politicians.

Love the way you home in on this one and avoid all the peace in the world today. Following the International community assuming in advance we would have a more peaceful world with President Obama as president. Swedden doesn't have a refugee crisis it some other thing that happened in 2011 that resulted in it emmulating US Border practices. Right.

So sure who is drinking the Kool-Aid.

Whatever,

Far right wingnuts, sure! Delude yourself some more. The folks you esteem so much are so corrupt it isn't funny anymore. Both the left and the right are sick of it and will vote against it.

Bengahzi shows just how much she disdains the people she was responsible for. Criminal wrong doing? Maybe not, but certainly exposes attitudes that will determine her fitness as Commander in Chief. If you could vote, would this deter you from voting for her? Likely not, but for many here, it does. Reminding the voters of this is good campaign tactics.

Sanders and Trump are getting the anti-establishment vote from both parties. Last night shows that those folks appear to be consolidating around Trump. Bernie's momentum is weakening just as Trump is breaking 50% consistently. The polls are showing him below 50% but the vote totals show him rising above that apparent barrier.

The Republican primaries are up 70% more in total participants than 4 years ago. The Dems are down 35%. There is a big chunk of the electorate that is shifting their support from the Dems to being not republican but certainly anti-something that coalesces around Trump. They are anti-establishment. The dems are suffering because their cohesive control of their elected members show just how firmly establishment they actually are. The people's party my great aunt Sally!

This is not a movement of any fringe. This is a groundswell of folks giving the middle finger to elites that care more for their individual power than the welfare of their constituents. So keep deluding yourself thinking this is a movement of the extreme right. That delusion will foster more surprises to come.
