When old, you sleep like a baby: you can't stay asleep at night, and you need naps in the daytime

I'll have to wait to be old then. I still sleep all night and stay awake all day.
Cheers John

Several similarities.
One is that you no longer give a f***. As a baby it's all about you. But as an older child and particularly a teen it's all about peer pressure, as an adult it is about fitting into society and work, and now as an elder I'm only bound by my presumably good manners. If I'm in a BBQ discussion and the other nine there express a view I don't agree with, I now politely demolish their arguments, whereas once I would have kept quiet. I've been there, done that (often twice), have nothing to prove, and can't be put down, so I don't cop sh*t anymore. There are other similarities like inability to be athletic and such. |

Who has to wait to get old? That young person is a luxury of life not to be waisted one bit. I am already old. I do not quite understand how or why this happened soosss fast, but here we are. Time for my nap!
