Is the meaning of life inseparable and defined by its purpose?

The purpose of life is to live. To live takes on many subjectives.

Comment: The reference has the introduction, Table of Contents, and Index. Add the body, and you are over 500 pages. From what is seen here, information density is likely to be high. Mathematical background is needed.

This looks good. It is evident that when ILL gets me the body of the book, some things will be learned, but it won't be possible to digest more than a fraction of it in the available time.

Given history, it is possible that the Spanish Inquisition was a mistake caused by imitation of Islamic methods. "Who is convinced by force is of the same opinion still."

Can you point to any known source of functional data that doesn't start with personal intelligence? The theory that personal is a by product of an impersonal universe goes back at least to the Babylonians - look at the Babylonian creation myths, which assume the universe to be already existing.

The question is whether the impersonal cosmos is an intended product of a personal: "In the beginning, God . . .."

In other words, we know of no way workable rules can come from an impersonal cosmos.

*IMHO the first point is why the multi universe hypothesis was made: since our cosmos started with low entropy and high information level, those who worship time-plus-chance suggested that it must be balanced by many cosmoses with low entropy and/or information level.

Caution:
Noise can be thought of as organized chaos. The absence of a discernible geometric pattern - yielding an abstract pattern - an algorithm. It is employed in some compression software. Although it can be an inexact science which is also limited by hardware and resulting in a lossy solution. Such as "fuzzy logic" used in noise suppression.

I used Lisp to write one of my very first such algorithms decades ago, because of Lisp's natural abstraction capabilities.
