I expect that in the lifespan of some living today (young females in 1st world countries) death by aging will be defeated. Not the same as immortality as other things kill people as well. This will be achieved by world wide research across the vast machine of the modern post industrial world. I don't believe it has been done previously by nomadic goat herders.
I also believe that around the world for the entire span of modern humanity's existence there have been many world wide disasters such as floods, hurricanes, volcanoes and earthquakes. However their world was probably about 50 kms across. As we understand the world these were localised disasters, but they would have been passed down in oral traditions.

Nothing of it is. See here for details (also see the comment section for people like you trying to discredit it and faltering whenever they're asked to back up their claims)

So this is fake and the scientists are lying? I just think this is interesting. I know it scares you too much to really delve into this topic. If this is true ufo (a satelite made my unknown, lost, or extinct civilization) satelite, could it be before the Great Flood or other such cataclymism. So The E what do you think it is? Please take some time and do some real research about this interesting anomaly.

Also, this could be hoax because I have no way of verifying this object myself. The E, what would your reaction be if the world's top scientist came onto tv and internet and said the black knight was real. If any part of this true, it does not affect me at all either way. If the alternate is true...same answer. Last question, do you believe that life exists in the cosmos or the universe (outside of our planet and solar system)?

The pseudoscientists you're following are, yes. Whether knowingly or by omission, I cannot say, but they are definitely not the source of truth you believe them to be. They barely qualify as scientists, anyhow.

I just think this is interesting. I know it scares you too much to really delve into this topic.

No, it doesn't, but I've given up on explaining why to you.

If this is true ufo (a satelite made my unknown, lost, or extinct civilization) satelite, could it be before the Great Flood or other such cataclymism. So The E what do you think it is? Please take some time and do some real research about this interesting anomaly.

Going by the well-sourced, well-researched article I just linked you to, it is a combination of several phenomena that UFO believers have somehow stitched together into one incoherent theory. Do take the time and read the comments to the article: At several points, an UFO believer like you will try to discredit the article or the points it makes, and every time the admin of the site will ask them to follow up their claims with actual proof. Do note that none of these requests are ever answered, just like you do not answer my requests for proof in this topic. That sort of behaviour more than anything else discredits you and the people you follow.

Also, this could be hoax because I have no way of verifying this object myself. The E, what would your reaction be if the world's top scientist came onto tv and internet and said the black knight was real.

Then I would calmly wait for his proof, and then proceed to calmly wait for more proof provided by others or try and prove it myself.

The problem is, you saw that list titled "20 facts". You apparently accepted those facts to be actual facts, not speculation; For me, that article was just a list of 20 random things some idiots made up. Why? Because there are no references provided. Not to mention that it is laughably written: Look at fact 6 ("The story of the Black Knight made its media debut in the 1940′s when the St. Louis Dispatch and The San Francisco Examiner wrote about the “Satellite” on May 14th 1954."), and tell me in which decade the year 1954 is.

If any part of this true, it does not affect me at all either way. If the alternate is true...same answer. Last question, do you believe that life exists in the cosmos or the universe (outside of our planet and solar system)?

That's the thing though. Individual parts of this story are true. But the conclusion isn't. Hell, look at the comment section again! The Ham radio operator mentioned in facts 17 and 18 of your list makes a personal appearance to clarify that yes, he originally arrived at those numbers. Then he rechecked, and found that he made several calculation errors, rendering his results invalid.

Do I believe in life in the Universe? Of course I do. Anyone who knows statistics and scale does. I also would very much like to live in a universe where we have contact with intelligent extraterrestrial life, but there is no evidence that such a contact has ever happened.

Unfortunately we'll never know, otherwise I'd lay a bet. As technology advances the life spans, there is then more time for further research. I didn't say people won't keep dying, as many things kill people, from trucks, to cancer, to new diseases, and so on. But the aging process that causes people to be susceptible to stuff like heart attacks, may well be frozen or possibly even reversed somewhat. Don't forget that 80 years ago computers didn't exist, who knows what (we haven't even thought of now) will exist in another 80 years for the young of today?

That is easily the most realistic claim in this entire thread. Relax, defeating the complex of degenerative diseases commonly referred to as "old age" is a very profitable research subject.

Re: immortality, I remember reading that anyone immune to aging would have a life expectancy of about 3,000 years.

Why?

Sickness, accidents, murder, manslaughter, suicide, death via stupidity, natural disasters etc.

Of course, boredom would probably the biggest killer. Not for us, obviously (given we're always looking forwards to more RFC stuff) but when you've pretty much done everything three times, you'd probably begin to wonder if there is an actual afterlife...

I can't write anywhere near as well as Weber
But I try nonetheless, And even do my own artwork.

Now imagine Hitler, Stalin or Pol Pot living for 3,000 years.

For all of history there have been tyrants, despots and robber barons, but they could only do limited damage. It typically takes them half a lifetime to attain power, they die after a few decades, and their tyrannies disintegrate shortly afterward. What might happen if those sociopaths could spend thousands of years tightening their grip on power?

Kosh was right.
You are not ready for immortality.
