Main stream and tributaries in Honor Harrington books

For years, I have re-read the entire library prior to the release of a new book and with the announcement that the next Honor Harrington book is scheduled for release in the fall of this year, I began again with "On Basilisk Station" in January and started "At All Costs" today. Something that was nagging me for the last few books and came in focus with the scene in Chapter Two in Albrecht Detweiler's office... I know that Aldona and Isabella's activities are covered in one of the "tributary" books so I have a question and a question...
Are Third Yeltsin and Trevor Star battles covered in other "tributary" books or... did my kindle skip over a few pages on a few occasions?

I would like to see these tributary books linked into the main stream where it would be most logical to step aside to read them ((Does this make any sense?) I don't know how I might rephrase this)

The actual battles of Third Yeltsin and Trevor's Star are only mentioned by the characters. They are not covered by any of the books like the battles of First Hancock Station (The Short Victorious War) and Second Hancock Station (Echoes of Honor) were covered by the books.

The "Saganami Island" and "Torch" novels happen concurrently with the "Mainstream" novels. That makes reading events in chronological order extremely difficult -- it takes a timeline with more resolution than is reproducible from the textev. RFC only gives broad hints as to timing of events, which leaves some events locatable only within a given year, and that with some uncertainty.

I've found that reading everything on publication order works best. There are lists in publication order in several places on the Web.

Thank you each... I had rather thought that but the nagging I mentioned required action.

I was also struck with the realization that David Weber is masterful with describing characters in minimal "brush strokes" when I saw how little descriptiveness he gave to James MacGuiness... I mean, he is there at her elbow with a fresh cup of coco but no police artist could draw a picture of him from the description given as far as I have read on this pass.
Yet it never even showed up on my radar that David did this with many of his prominent characters... very economical.

Actually, I think that Trevor's Star battle was when Honor was off in the Q-ship "Honor Among Enemies" but... hey, I have been wrong before

Really? Once we get to 1918 or thereabouts it's possible to put together a month by month timeline with rather few uncertainties. The biggest problem is At All Costs, which only occupies 8 months and doesn't intersect any of the activity in either Torch or Talbott. I've got it on my hard drive.

Before 1918 there isn't enough overlap between the novels and the stories in the anthologies to matter.

As I recall, Third Yeltsin happened roughly concurrently with First Hancock (pre-Pierre Coup at least)
