You only get probation if you're found (or admit to be) guilty. You get that right?

The fact that they pled her out a deal for the minimum possible sentence doesn't change the guilty part.


And to repeat, once again, PP are driving the civil case to court *themselves*. Of course they want it to go to court! They have no control over whether the criminal case does.

Not a plea. Actually that's the point of what they are talking about.
It's more probation mixed with shelving the charges. Behave and the charges eventually get dropped. Mis behave and the case goes ahead.

And if she thought she could beat the charges she wouldn't be accepting a probationary sentence to avoid going to court. She's guilty, everyone knows she's guilty, and contrary to smr's impression of what is going on it's the fraud trying to avoid this ending up in court even if that requires her accepting a disciplinary sentence to avoid that happening... not "PP and the Democrats" trying to keep anything out of court.

Gc, I don't remember that it was part of a plee. It read more like the prosecuter was just giving it to her.

If it was part of a plea deal then it might be for testimony against the main person.

You don't "give" someone punishment, unless it's imposed by the court as part of sentencing they have to accept it. There *had* to be a deal. Something along the lines of "I won't drag you into court where we both know perfectly well you'll almost certainly get a harsher sentence than this, instead you take this milder punishment and say thank you".

At which point Ms. fraud's legal counsel almost certainly said "take that deal right now".


Whether it comes along with a promise to testify against the lead fraud will be interesting to see.

Daryl is it right to murder a baby outside the womb than why should we allow the murder of a bay inside the womb. That's my basic reasoning for views and stances on abortion. However, I understand a woman wanting an abortion due to rape and incest. Second, their certain medical reasons that make it hard for me to ban abortion. For it to be used as way to get rid of unwanted pregnancy that should be illegal. Tubal ligation is very effective birth control method and their are certain pills that will kill off the fetus (baby) with 10 days of pregnancy. (the last point I personally hate but it is legal.) For the most part, the democrats do not want PP to be d-funded because they lose 20 million dollars of campaign funds. That's an extreme conflict of interest.

In the military you should never give an order that you know will be disobeyed. Same applies to laws.
Women will seek abortions regardless of the law or anyone's moral objections to it, thus let's make it safer.
I know the instant counter argument then is why would we pass laws forbidding murder? But they are really two separate issues, and generally the murderer isn't risking their life, nor is society pushing them to murder.

Hmm pass no laws therefore no criminals, just anarchy? No government is as bad as too much, the problem is we argue where the balance point is, and thus politics rears its ugly head.
