Sort of like that Alabama city council meeting and solar energy. One idiot, citizen says something ignorant. That is the story not the plain and simple economics not being there to build something.
Though a politicians connection to reality is always questionable. My representative to Congress. He tried to introduce a bill on the federal debt. If the Federal Government owes a debt to the SSA then it isn't really a debt. After all it isn't a debt when you owe money to yourself. RIGHT.
He was a Democrat which really isn't important to the discussion if a Republican said the same thing I would remember it and point out the stupidity.
Why could he get away with it? Well he has run more or less unopposed since he was elected.
I have trouble voting casting a protest vote for the nuts who run against him. Still do it but they are as silly as he is.
