What happens if the Kurds don't want any? The Kurds, uh, don't have the best relations with their neighbors. Easily understandable.

I wonder how many of you 'but COUNTRY' folks would expect such patriotism and nationalism if you hadn't been born US citizens, or into other 'free' western nations with a pretty good life being the norm. Would you be so patriotic if you grew up in the fiefdom of a despotic dictator?

Hmm things might have been peaceful if the 'Great Black Father' had not stirred the pot creating the the Arab spring.

You may have noticed that the radical Muslims don't like democracy any more than the dictators.

Ok course not. The radicals want to impose their own totalitarian dictatorial government in place of the old one. Dictatorships are -always- bad. Unless it's their dictatorship. Then it is good and those who resist are filthy infidels that must be killed ASAP.

Ten Things Every Fringe Group Has In common.
4. Contempt for the average people they claim to want to help or liberate. Fringe groups look down their nose at the average Joe. Be they anarchist, socialist, or libertarian, the fringe sees most of humanity as little more than brainwashed cattle who need to be enlightened by the group's gospel. This betrays a desire not for the fringe group to help anyone, but rather that they want to mold themselves as the aristocracy of their hypothetical system.
