However, without confirmation directly from RFC, I'd suggest taking this with a very large grain of salt.

Thank you - order placed!

Please Lord, let the Weber Family be healthy, safe and happy in this New Year of 2016! Let the Safehold Fans practice safe drooling and let the snippets flow on a timely basis!

FYI: The 1st and unofficial HFQ snippet was in March of 2014 with the 1st OFFICIAL one following on August 08, 2014. The last Official Snippet (#28) came on Jul 27 for the publication on Sep 13th. Remember that HFQ was submitted late due to Sharon's medical treatment and thus TOR had to let publication dates slip to 2015. :?

HOWEVER, by these roadsigns, we are severely deficient in snippets IF THAT IS THE TRUE DATE OF PUBLICATION!

"At The Sign of Triumph" wouldn't be a bad title, but I'd also be onboard with "When The Saints Come Marching In"

How about "at the sign of Harley Davidson" ... or ... will we find the 23 psalm in the book of Langhorn
..."Through the Valley of the Shadow of Death"

But Every psalm 23 song I know whistles past the grave yard.

OK... After I read the post more carefully... I pre-ordered a hardbound copy... Someone shared that Amazon sold him a Kindle copy for a few bucks after he had the hardbound... so I will try that... Not sure that I want to read the Snip-it / Spoiler cause it is like a fan dance.

I find myself wondering if there will be snippets. It could be that the first thing we see are sample chapters like Baen posted for RTH.

Let's face it. The snippet thing didn't work out so well for HFQ... lots of disappointment and unsatisfied expectations.

Does the posting of the title mean that the book is written and in the publisher's hands? This is the first news of the follow on volume that I've seen.

Could be. The listing shows a page count of 608 which implies it's gone through the publishing process.

Except that that is exactly the same page count published as the HFQ length until it got past the ARC level. Could just be a placeholder number.
