Nice post poker. You know what would be cool? A Christmas stocking designed like a stretched treecat. A collector's item that'd be. Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

"The 'Cat came Back"
The People's Republic had some troubles of his own For the Manties had a 'cat that just wouldn't go home StateSec and the Navy tried to blow that 'cat away they sent Coglin to Basilisk far away... But the 'cat came back, the very next day the 'cat came back, they thought they'd killed his Honor but the 'Cat came back, he just wouldn't stay away They sent a ship to Grayson, knew the 'cat would be right there They tried to make the Manticorans panic and dispair but the Maccabeans found Nimitz, he gave a little "bleek!" and the corpses smelled like celery for more than a week... But the 'cat came back, the very next day the 'cat came back, they thought they'd killed his Honor but the 'Cat came back, he just wouldn't stay away They sent a fleet to Hancock, for a short victorious war but Honor and her 'cat had a couple tricks in store and before the Havenites could question those "BC's" the Manties sent their arse to space as easy as can be... But the 'cat came back, the very next day the 'cat came back, they thought they'd killed his Honor but the 'Cat came back, he just wouldn't stay away |

Regarding
"One of the problems with fighting the tactics of Honor Harrington: Not only does she never operate "by the Book," but I doubt she's ever even read it!" -Officer of The People's Navy It's worse than that, she wrote the Book, and is continually adding new chapters. |

She rewrote "the book" because everyone was originally holding the tactics section upside down. Can't you just imagine her finding someone reading "the book" then walking up to them and taking it out of their hands, flipping it, and handing it back, "There!" And now it's making sense?
