Devoids an idea for comic series

This is an idea inspired by Smoke and Mirrors comic series, it's about a earth like World were Magic is used like Science in our world.


A Devoid is a person born without Mana, so they can't do or use Magick hence which means this person can't use Magick power objects ether or cast spells.

There is deep Racism towards Devoid people, they are restricted in what type of work they can get and education as well.

I need help in creating this world and culture as well in this earth like planet of magick.

I'd be willing to help, but first I need proof that you can actually develop something for yourself.
Seriously. How many things have you abandoned? 5? 6?
One short story. That's all I ask.
You can use one of your older ideas such as the Kath, Chinese Fantasy, Kavi, Privateer, Giovanni Bank orDelos concepts.
Aim for about, say, 4,000 words? (For me, that's a bit under what I'm currently posting each week, so you should be able to do it).
Once written, post it. I'd recommend FictionPress.Com, but that's just me. There are other sites available.
Once you have written and published a short story (posting the link here for us to see), I'm sure you'll be able to actually get help.

Of course, my money's currently on this idea sinking as well...
