Just trying to cover all the possibilities.
It would be amusing to find the IAN, with Herzog von Rabinstrage, in possession when Admiral Henke shows up the next day, but I seriously doubt that's what's going to happen.
We do know that's why the Anderman Empire decided not to join the Grand Alliance; they've got a serious bone to pick with the MAlign over the assassination attempt on the Heir.
We know that Mike is heading for Mesa. We also know that the Andies were deliberately excluded (and self-excluded) from the initial incarnation of the GA, with a very strong sub-rosa suggestion that the IAN turn its attention to someone they have a more ... personal bone to pick with.
The initial Mesan assessment is, IIRC, about two dozen of the wall. We know that Mike has a squadron of SDPs, a squadron of CLACs, and two squadrons of Nike BCs. Which is 24. But we also know that initial assessments tend to be low, which suggests more than 24 wallers have arrived.
A reasonable estimate is 36 of the wall, about 50 percent error. That's 4 squadrons of wallers plus a odd division. Which is a reasonable response to a threat to the Imperial Succession.
My own personal expectation is that it's the Aldermani. That's the sort of twist that MDW likes to throw at us. Mike arrives 24 hours later or so.
